PROMOTING COAS NEWS AND EVENTS
If you have items to send for inclusion in publications out of the chancellor’s weekly message,
alumni newsletter, or similar publications, please email the details to Cathleen Carosella. At the
request of the Chancellor’s communication team, she will work directly with John Kaufeld, Nicole
Wilkins, and other campus staff to promote COAS events, faculty and staff accomplishments, and
other news items. Our ability to track COAS news items is vital. Once you have collected all of the
details that need to be sent to the campus, local, regional, or other media, please send the
information directly to Cathleen (caroselc; 10686) and/or cc her on correspondence about COASrelated news and events.
NEW MONITOR IN LIBERAL ARTS BUILDING
A new display monitor that will promote COAS news has been placed in the COAS lounge area
outside LA 159. If you have COAS-related events, classes, or other items you want publicized,
please contact Cathleen Carosella. The screen presents information in landscape format. Items need
to be submitted in .jpg/jpeg or .png formats (or one that can be easily converted to those formats).
Ideal sizing for images is 1557 X 856 pixels or 16:9 landscape aspect ratio. Please send items for
inclusion or questions to Cathleen (caroselc; 10686).
“LIKE” COAS!
We encourage all COAS faculty, staff, and majors to follow COAS on Facebook and Twitter.
Recently we have posted photos from the COAS Honors Banquet, the Student Research and
Creative Endeavor Symposium, and a selection of department events. If you have photos from
events, please send or, if too large to email, arrange to bring them to either Cathleen (caroselc;
10686) or Jessica (neuejm01; 16743). We can also share .pdf or .jpg versions of fliers to promote
COAS classes and events.
