ABSTRAK
Gaya pengambilan keputusan konsumen merupakan pola tanggapan yang relatif
konsisten. Dapat dilihat bahwa dari segi demografis, geografis dan grup influence
terbukti berdampak signifikan. Tulisan ini meneliti perbedaan gaya pengambilan
keputusan konsumen Universitas Kristen Maranatha dan Universitas Widyatama
menggunakan Consumer Style Inventory yang di kembangkan Sproles dan Kendal
(1986). Pemeriksaan menunjukan bahwa umur, jenis kelamin, penduduk asli, dan
informasi produk mempengaruhi perilaku belanja. Dengan demikian juga CSI dapat
diterapkan dengan unsur demografis,geografis, dan group influence.

Abstract
Consumer decision-making style is a relatively consistent pattern of response. It
can be seen that in terms of demographic, geographic and group proved to be a
significant influence. This paper examines differences in consumer decisionmaking styles Maranatha Christian University and the University of Widyatama
using the Consumer Style Inventory that was developed Sproles and Kendal (1986).
Examination showed that age, gender, indigenous people , and information products
affect shopping behavior . Thus CSI also be applied to the elements demographic ,
geographic , and group influence
