The challenge
The solution
Seamless multi-channel experience
To complement its strong bricks-andmortar presence in Central and Eastern
European markets, Raiffeisen Bank
International AG (RBI) wanted to grow
its customer base by reaching
customers who are digital natives,
preferring to interact digitally rather
than in-branch.
After reviewing offerings from a
number of leading vendors, RBI
selected Misys FusionBanking Essence
solutions. As a first step, the bank
deployed the FusionBanking Essence
Digital Channels Platform – a fully
integrated solution that supports
front- and back-office agents, contact
centre personnel and the all-important
online banking processes.
As so many customers now complete
banking interactions on mobile devices
such as smartphones, RBI was keen to
ensure that the ZUNO experience
would continue across multiple
channels.
To achieve its goal, RBI decided to
launch a new direct banking venture:
ZUNO BANK AG. The aim was to create
a seamless customer experience across
a new online site, mobile site and
contact centre – offering internet-savvy
customers the flexibility to access
banking services anytime, anywhere
and on any platform.
Creating the infrastructure for ZUNO
was a significant undertaking. In
addition to a front-office solution that
could integrate with the new ZUNO
contact centres, the bank sought to
offer the same comprehensive range of
banking services across both its
desktop and mobile sites.
Built-in business logic means that data
entered via any channel flows into a
single, customer-centric view. Thanks
to the FusionBanking Essence Digital
Channels Platform, ZUNO bank can
onboard new customers rapidly and
gain a complete overview of every
subsequent customer interaction,
including last login, recent actions and
upcoming birthdays.
To extend the service to mobile
platforms, RBI implemented Misys
FusionBanking Essence Mobile. ZUNO
customers on mobile devices are now
automatically redirected to a mobileoptimised site, where they can access
an overview of their accounts, balances
and transaction histories, and create
and manage payments.
