Print Form UNIBusiness Global Opportunities Scholarship Application This application form is used by business majors planning for an international experience opportunity to apply for all applicable scholarships and grants available through the College of Business Administration. See Degree Audit.) of 2.75 or higher. Application due dates: Summer programs 15 February of the year of travel. Fall programs March 30 of the year of travel Spring applications October 30 the year BEFORE travel. Submit applications to the Global Opportunities Office, CBB 5. Complete applications will include this form and: 1. Current transcript. 2. Current resume. 3. Study Abroad itemized expense report. 4. Flight invoice. 5. Required essay. 6. Semester Abroad Applicants only: Expected program of study for the study abroad semester See page 2 for more information concerning required attachments. Last modified: 28 Feb 2012 UNIBusiness Global Opportunities Scholarship Application Application Instructions All applicants must be a fully-admitted CBA MAJOR with a MAJOR GPA of 2.75 or higher. (Major GPA is calculated from business courses only and reported on the Degree Audit.) All applicants must submit the UNIBusiness Global Opportunities Scholarship Application form. All applicants must submit a completed application by the due date associated with the study abroad program they plan to attend: Summer programs: 15 February in the year of travel Fall programs: 30 March in the year of travel Spring programs: 30 October the year BEFORE travel All applicants must include the appropriate attachments as detailed below. 1. A photocopy of your most current transcript (does not have to be a certified copy). 2. A current resume. Students who wish to be considered for the Michael and Jacqueline Mrosko Endowed CBA International Travel Scholarship should also include extra-curricular achievement which emphasizes honor, service, and/or campus ministry activities. 3. A copy of the itemized expense report provided to you by the Study Abroad Office for the study abroad program you have chosen. 4. A copy of the invoice showing the cost of the flight you have purchased for the study abroad activity. 5. A brief essay addressing ONE of the following: a. Your anticipated educational, professional, and cultural benefits from this experience, how this international program fits into your proposed plan of study at UNI, and how the program will enhance this plan. OR b. Students applying for the International Professional Development Competitive scholarship submit a 3-4 page, double-spaced essay that explores the market opportunity for exporting a product made in Iowa to another country. This is an annual award for students attending a semester abroad program. Before applying students should contact Chris Schrage ([email protected], 319-273-2126, CBB 5) for details. 6.
