Preface
This Report for the year ended March 2015 has been prepared for submission to the
President under Article 151 of the Constitution of India.
This Report contains the result of Special audit of Medical Education Projects of
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) for the period 2008-09 to 2014-15.
The instances mentioned in this report are those, which came to notice in the course
of special audit conducted during the period January 2015 to May 2015.
The audit has been conducted in conformity with the Auditing Standards issued by
the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
Audit wishes to acknowledge the cooperation received from Ministry of Labour
and Employment/Employees' State Insurance Corporation at each stage of the audit
process.
