Multimedia Equipment Rental Policy — College Sponsored Events
1. No charge for using existing multimedia equipment in classrooms.
2. Palm Beach State College department sponsoring the event will be responsible for their staff receiving training
on the multimedia system. If a media technician is requested to stay during the event, a rate of $35 per hour
would be charged depending on tech availability. (A minimum of 3 hours per event for tech support during
nights and weekends).
3. Organizations Requesting Recorded Events:

$100 – one video camera – this cost provides organization with one unedited DVD of the event

$35 per hour – Camera Operator
Additional Information:

Other items that may be requested by organizations could include: multi-microphone setup and speaker
phone with connection to outside phone lines.

If organizations will be connecting to the Palm Beach State College internet, they must contact the
Information Technology Dept. (561)868-3100 at least 10 days prior to the event for access.
