Trade and Industry programs
(Lake Worth, Fla. – June 2, 2010) Palm Beach State College is hosting an open house to
highlight in-demand trade and industry training programs, June 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the
lobby of the Education and Training Building A, Lake Worth campus, 4200 Congress Ave.
Guests can get information and talk with instructors in the building trades apprenticeships,
welding, machining, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, cosmetology, aeronautical science
and industrial management technology programs. Information will also be available on the
Associate in Science degree in Sustainable Construction Management and College Credit
Certificates in Drafting for Sustainable Construction and Sustainable Building Specialist.
In addition, Corporate and Continuing Education staff will be on hand for attendees to learn
about course offerings in water/wastewater treatment, green building initiatives, solar installation
and more.
