Conference Topics
 The SEC questioned the Consolation Game Process. A discussion ensued on what are the
consequences if you bail out of a game that you signed up for. Should the team be penalized
and not be able to play a consolation game the following year. It was suggested that a
Tournament Refusal Form should be used in Football the same way it is used in other sports.
The SEC questioned whether or not soccer officials should be allowed to remain on the field at
the end of the game. There have been instances where coaches/players have been ejected by
the officials after the game has already ended. Several conferences agreed that the officials
should remain on the field so that the players can thank the officials, other conferences agreed
that the officials should be escorted off the field. A request can be made to add this to the
agenda at the Rules Committee Meeting.
The CC questioned the fees for officials for the playoff games. The NJSIAA sets the fee structure.
As the teams move up in the playoffs the official’s fees increase accordingly.
School Manager-In order to update a coach, you must first add the coach to the system. Once
the coach is in the system you can add/delete to update your school’s information.
